Mr. Joe Gwyn Price, age 90, of Warrensville passed away Tuesday morning at his home in the Clifton Community. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Margaret Wannamaker officiating. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:00AM at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens with military rites. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Price is survived by his wife Eloise Edmondson Price of 57 years. Also surviving are two sons and their families: David and Cindy Price and Brantley and Amy Price, both of Warrensville. Four grandsons survive, Sam Price, Nate Price, Cole Price and Judd Price. Mr. Price is also survived by one sister, Virginia Ruth Roberts of Warrensville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Price retired from Sprague Electric Company but his true passion was farming in the Clifton community. Mr. Price attended both Brevard College and NC State University. He served in the US Navy in both War World II and the Korean Conflict. He attended the Clifton United Methodist Church. The family respectfully request no food please.
