Miss Robin Janine Shatley age 29, of Jefferson passed away Sunday, December 18, 2019 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 1:00pm at Mt. Jefferson Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Casey, Rev. Lloyd Day and Rev. Teddy Shatley officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00pm on Friday, one hour prior to the funeral service. She was born in Ashe County to Jeffrey Doyle Shatley and Joyce Ann Staley. She worked as a cashier at the Corner Market. She enjoyed reading and writing stories. Miss Shatley is survived by her father and stepmother, Jeff and Susan Shatley, of Jefferson; her mother and stepfather, Joy and Steve Richardson, of Lansing; her parental grandmother, Arlene Shatley, of Jefferson; her maternal grandparents, Anna and Sam Blevins, of Crumpler; a half-sister, Allie Weaver, of Johnson City, TN; two half-brothers, Brad Richardson and Tim Richardson, both of Crumpler; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
