Mr. Cliff Reed Wyatt, Jr. age 74, of West Jefferson passed away Monday afternoon, December 19, 2016 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 5:00-8:00pm at his daughter's Ellen Weaver home at 394 River Drive in Warrensville. Mr. Wyatt was born in Greenwood, Mississippi on May 15, 1942 to the late Cliff Reed and Mamie Lee Lewis Wyatt. He served in the United States Marine Corp. He retired from the police force in Jacksonville, NC. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sofia Ann Brown Wyatt on October 6, 2009. Mr. Wyatt is survived by two sons, Steven Wyatt and wife, Cindy, of Dobson and Daniel Wyatt and wife, Jennie, of Abingdon, VA; two daughters, Ellen Weaver and husband, Jeff, of Warrensville and Deborah Whisler and husband Mitch, of Muskegon, Michigan; a brother, George Wyatt of Grand Junction, Colorado; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
