Obituary of Francis "Frank" William Eagle
Mr. Francis William Eagle, better known as "Frank" age 70, of Jefferson passed away Sunday morning, January 1, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 3PM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Military Rites with Rev. Ken Morris and Rev. Michael Lea officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 2-3pm at Boone Family Funeral Home.
Mr. Eagle was born in Maryland on July 6, 1946 to the late Ira Mason and Lorena Rudd Eagle. He was the owner of Jefferson Appliance. He served in the United States Navy. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He enjoyed making everyone laugh. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all.
He is preceded in death by a daughter; Marlene Eagle.
He is survived by his wife; Jackie Miller Eagle, one son; James David Lilley, Jr. and wife Stacie of Kentucky, one daughter; Christy Propst and husband Blair of Morehead City, one grandson of the home; Brandon Lilley, one brother; Charlie Eagle and wife Freida of Pennsylvania, one sister; Shirley Jarvis and husband Odell of Maryland, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ashe County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 639, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
