Miss. Virginia Dare Greene, age 66 of West Jefferson passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Miss. Greene was born in Ashe County on December 12, 1950 to the late Real Adams and Ruby Lee Patrick Greene. She worked as a C.N.A. She had a deep loved for dogs. She is survived by one son; Glen Greene and wife Vicki of Boone, and several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090.
