Mrs. Blanche Nettie Sullivan Graham, age 92, of Jefferson formerly of Whitetop, VA, passed away Tuesday night, February 14, 2017 at Margate Health & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wilmer Shepherd and Rev. Nathan Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Patterson-Graham Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am on Friday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Graham was born in Ashe County on September 27, 1924 to the late Walter and Fannie Thompson Sullivan. She was a member of Whitetop Baptist Church. She retired from Sprague Electric after 20 plus years. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, making apple butter at Whitetop Fire Department and traveling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her two nieces, Clara Kyles and Daphine Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Giles Warren Graham; two sons, Jerry Warren Graham and Lloyd Donald Graham; three sisters, Donna Jones, Edna Little and Treva Graham; two brothers, Odell Sullivan and Ora Sullivan. Mrs. Graham is survived by two sons, Larry Graham and wife, Brenda, of Germanton and David Graham, of Whitetop, VA; thirteen grandchildren, Keith Widick, Scott Widick, Katina Young and husband, Jonathan, Kimberly Barker and husband, Joby, Giles Graham, Andrew Graham, Ashley Graham, Jahn Graham, Jeremy Graham, Cherie Graham Bare, Jennifer Jenkins and husband, Jeff, Chrissy Griffin and husband, David and Justin Graham; twenty great grandchildren, Cody Widick, Devon Widick, Kaylani Widick, Valen Widick, Christopher Gentry and fiancé Tori, Derrick Gentry, Joby Barker, Jr. Joshua Barker, Jared Barker, Jonathan Barker, Audry Graham, Jordan Nemeth and husband, Jared, Keegan Graham, Lakin Graham, Brindon Graham, Kendall Bare, Austin Jenkins, Avery Hopkins, Iris Hopkins and Berlin Graham; one great-great grandchild, Inaiah Polivka; several nieces and nephews also survive. After the graveside service the family will be meeting at the Winner's Circle for a meal at your own expense.
