Mr. Ronald Clinton Goodman, better known as Ronnie age 76, of West Jefferson passed away Wednesday evening, February 15, 2017 at Margate Health and Rehab, Memorial services will be held at a late date. Mr. Goodman was born in Watauga County, on October 23, 1940 to the late Donald Clinton and Mary Pruitt Goodman. He enjoyed the outdoors working in this native rhododendron and ivy. He had a love for his dogs. He was a member of West Jefferson First Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, he will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by a brother; Eddie Dean Goodman. He is survived by his wife of 55 years; Betty Bower Goodman, one daughter; Pamela K. Goodman of West Jefferson, one granddaughter; Kayla Weaver of Wilmington, NC, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
