Mrs. Ilene Sexton Eldreth, age 87, of Lansing passed away Friday morning, March 3, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 2:00pm at Long Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Lewis and Rev. Larry Shepherd officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Sunday; one hour prior to the memorial service. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ford Sexton and a son-in-law, Benny Roop. Mrs. Eldreth is survived by two sons, Rick Eldreth and wife, Ann, of Lansing and Mike Eldreth and wife, Diane, of Lansing; a daughter, Carol Roop, of Lansing; a sister, Sybil Lynch, of Roanoke, VA; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a great, great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews also survive.
