Mrs. Freda Roberts Barlow, age 76, of Lansing passed away Thursday morning, March 9, 2017 at her residence. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mrs. Barlow was born in Ashe County on December 24, 1940 to the late Herman and Retha Powers Roberts. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She retired from Leviton Mfg. Company She is survived by her husband; Stuart Barlow, one daughter; Rebecca Jane Potter and husband Joey of Claremont, one son; David Barlow of West Jefferson, one sister; Reba Gilley and husband Clint of Warrensville; a brother, Herman Roberts, of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren; Madison Potter, Paula McNeill and husband Dusty, and Jennifer Francis, four great-grandchildren, one step great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a faith companion Holly the dog.
