Mrs. Ruby Mae Eller Hayworth, age 85, of West Jefferson passed away Thursday night, April 27, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Tommy Dollar officiating. Burial will follow in the Calloway Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm on Monday; two hours prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Hayworth was born in Ashe County on Tuesday, June 9, 1931 to the late Henry Harvey and DeEtte Severt Eller. She was owner and operator of a local Florist in West Jefferson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ingram Hayworth. Mrs. Hayworth is survived by a son, Wayde Hayworth and wife, Patricia, of West Jefferson; a daughter, Rosa Hayworth Hodge and husband, Clyde, of Chapel Hill; two sisters, Grace Gilbert of West Jefferson and Kathleen Little, of Jefferson; four grandchildren, Ethan Hodge, Christopher Hodge, Dee Hayworth and Nolan Hayworth; two great-grandchildren, Lorena Parra and Vanessa Parra; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests no food please!
