Mrs. Susan Diane Brinegar Little, better known as "Susie" age 57, of Crumpler passed away Tuesday morning, June 20, 2017 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Little was born in Ashe County on May 30, 1960 to the late Marvin Brinegar and Betty Phipps Brinegar. She graduated from Ashe Central High School in 1978. She was part owner and operator of Brinegar's Service Station. She attended Jefferson United Methodist Church. Susie was an avid Duke Basketball fan and collect carousel horse in her spare time. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Craig Little; a son, Brad Little and wife, Heather, of Jefferson; her mother, Betty Brinegar, of Jefferson; two grandchildren, Dylan Little and Natalie Little of Jefferson; two step grandchildren, Kensey Mullis and Keegan Graham; a step great-granddaughter, Kylin Mullis also survive.
