Mrs. Beatrice McCoy Seagle, better known as "Mamma Bea" age 91, of Fleetwood passed away Friday morning, July 21, 2017 at her home. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 2:00pm at Old Fields Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Powers officiating. Mrs. Seagle was born in Henry County, Kentucky on August 5, 1925 to the late Luther and Zora McCoy. She worked at Sears and Rose's Department Store in retail. She enjoyed working with children and was employed a number of years as a "Foster Grandparent" at Ashe Developmental Day School working with special needs children. She was also owner and operator of Town House Restaurant. She attended at Old Fields Baptist Church. Mamma Bea enjoyed painting, reading and watching nature. Mrs. Seagle is survived by three sons, Lance Seagle and wife, Patty, of Fleetwood, Bruce Seagle and wife, Freda, of Bloomfield, Indiana and Dennie Seagle and wife, Barbara, of Big Flat, Arkansas; a daughter, Kim Horn and husband, Len, of Hope dale, Illinois; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
