Obituary of William Harold Baldwin

~~Mr. William Harold Baldwin, age 79, of Mouth of Wilson passed away Friday morning, July 28, 2017 at Presbyterian Hospital of Charlotte.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 2:00PM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Day, Rev. Julian Owens, Rev. Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Haw Orchard Cemetery with military rites.

The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Boone Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Baldwin was born in Fairfax, VA on February 15, 1938 to Edward Lincoln Baldwin and Nell Cross Baldwin. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Sturgills Baptist Church. He also enjoyed gardening, wood working, and his hummingbirds. He was a loving father, and grandfather, and will be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his wife; Kay Baldwin, his father; Edward Lincoln Baldwin, one daughter; Sandra Poe Ricci, and a brother; Edward Baldwin.

Mr. Baldwin is survived by a special friend; Katheleane Keaton of Lansing, one son; William Eric Baldwin and wife Tina of Mouth of Wilson, VA, one daughter; Lisa Reed and husband Danny of Hayes, his mother; Nell Cross Baldwin of West Jefferson,  one brother; Wayne Baldwin of Lansing, six sisters; Linda Stevens of Brown Summit, Jean Key of Lansing, Darlene Griffitts of Lansing, Lois Ham and husband Kenny of West Jefferson, Beverly Poe and husband Edward of West Jefferson, and Mildred Blevins and husband Sherman of Greensboro, five grandchildren; Michael Poe, Susie Farrington, Sarah Handy, Mason Baldwin, and Sawyer Baldwin, three great grandchildren; Hunter and Parker Farrington and Ivy Handy, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
