Mrs. Phyllis Ann Shatley Trivette, age 71, of Crumpler passed away Sunday night, August 27, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Jones, Speaker Robert Shatley and Rev. Steve Witherspoon officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30-2:00pm on Thursday, August 31, 2017; prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Trivette was born in Ashe County on December 17, 1945 to the late John Paul Shatley and Mabel Coldiron Shatley. She was an Antique Collector. Phyllis was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time outdoors but most of all spending time with her family. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin; she will be missed by all. She was also preceded in death by her father, Paul Shatley; a brother, David Shatley. Mrs. Trivette is survived by two daughters, Heather Jordan and husband, Ben, of West Jefferson and Hollie Trivette and husband Matthew Malinski, of Woodstock, Georgia; Her mother, Mabel Shatley, of Jefferson; four sisters, Vivian Shatley Miller and husband, Craig, of Crumpler, NC, Wanda Shatley Simison and husband, Gary, of Fleetwood, Becky Shatley of Wilkesboro and Jenny Shatley Freeman, of Charlotte; three brothers, Dan Shatley and fiancé Tonya Bottomley, of West Jefferson, Tim Shatley and wife, Sandy, of Jefferson and Mike Shatley and wife, Cherie, of Crumpler; a sister-in-law, Judy Shatley, of Crumpler; two grandchildren, Lyla Jordan and Ryder Jordan; several nieces and nephews also survive.
