Mrs. Nanetta Crepps Wright, age 75, of Jefferson, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 4:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Deneise Liss officiating. A private burial will follow at a later date. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00pm Sunday, July 19, 2009, two hours prior to the funeral service at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Wright was born in Ashe County on Monday, July 9, 1934 to the late Ernest Hobson and Neora Bare Crepps. She is survived by her husband, Wilber "Whitey" Wright of the home; one son, Louis Wright of Monticello, New York; one daughter, Janet Rudisill and husband James of Manteo, NC; two brothers, Leonard "Buddy" Crepps and wife Patricia of Jefferson, Michael Crepps of Jefferson; two sisters, Lucy Osborne and husband Norman of Glendale Springs, June Rogers of Lexington, KY; four grandchildren, Amanda Hill and husband Joe, Melissa Wright, Courtney O'Callaghan and husband Eamon, Katherine Rudisill; one great-granddaughter, Sierra O'Callaghan; several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
