Mrs. Linda Castine Milam Howell, age 65, of West Jefferson passed away Monday night, September 25, 2017 at her home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Howell was born in Ashe County on April 30, 1952 to the late Eugene and Pauline Latham Milam. She was owner/operator of the Ashe County License Plate Agency. She also worked part-time at Shatley Springs Restaurant. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Richardson. Mrs. Howell is survived by a son , Kevin Howell, of Fleetwood; three sisters, Peggy Wyatt and husband, Gale, of West Jefferson, Jackie Billings, of Ronda and Beth Milam, of Creston; two brothers, Joe Milam and wife, Patty, of Creston and Thomas Milam and wife, Vickie, of Fleetwood; several nieces and nephews also survive.
