Obituary of Ruby Mae Dillard

~~Mrs. Ruby Mae Miller Dillard, age 88, of Jefferson passed away Wednesday morning, October 11, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Powers and Rev. Michael Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Orion Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 12-2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dillard was born in Grayson County on September 8, 1929 to the late Charles and Ettie Dolinger Miller.  She was a member of Orion Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Hebert Grey Dillard, two sisters; Beluah Edwards and Elsie McCallister, and one brother; Gene Miller.

She is survived by seven sons; Wilton Dillard of Lansing, Doug Dillard of Jefferson, Ronald Dillard and wife Kathy of Lenoir, Benny Dillard and wife Pam of Fleetwood, Danny Dillard and wife Kathryn of Jefferson, Gary Dillard and wife Beverly of Lansing, and Terry Dillard and wife Brenda of Jefferson, one daughter; Anita Francis and husband Bobby of Jefferson, nineteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
