Mrs. Myrtle Miller Little, age 81, of Crumpler (the Nathans Creek Community) passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 1:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Senter Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 11:30-1pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Little was born in Ashe County on April 15, 1936 to the Att and Ada Lambert Miller. Myrtle enjoyed working in her flowers and garden. She loved to cook and was not happy until everyone had at least 2 plates. Her grandchildren were the love of her life. She was blessed to be married for 62 years to Poppy. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; she will be missed by all. She is survived by her husband, of 62 years of marriage, Clifford Little, two daughters; Susan Boone and husband Rick of Winston Salem, and Sandy Addison and husband Roger of Crumpler, three sisters; Dettie Royal of West Jefferson, Lillie Mae Phillips of Winston Salem, and Geneva Morgan of Westminster, MD, three grandchildren; Alex Addison and wife Christie of Laurel Springs, Tyler Boone of Kernersville, and Paige Boone of Winston Salem, several nieces and nephews also survive.
