Mr. Lacy "Harold" Testerman, age 83, of West Jefferson passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Jones, Rev. Allen Huffman and Rev. Guy Testerman officiating. Burial will follow in the Baptist Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Sunday, November 12, 2017; one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Testerman was born in Ashe County on October 4, 1934 to the late Lacy Carroll and Eva Segraves Testerman. Harold served in the United States Army. He retired from Ashe County Ford; where he worked for 30 years as a mechanic. Harold hauled milk with his brothers for many years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his spare time. He was a member of Little Helton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Tensie "Kay" Testerman; a brother, Elmer Dean Testerman. Mr. Testerman is survived by his wife, Glenna Jones, of 11 years of marriage; a step son, Ryland Jones and wife, Aroni, of Knoxsville, TN; a step daughter, Monica Harless and husband, Danny, of West Jefferson; three step grandchildren, Daniel Lee Harless and wife, Hannah, Zee Zee Jones, Emily Fox Jones; two step great-grandchildren, Kade Harless and Evie Harless; several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers and food will be appreciated.
