I just found out today of Doris's passing and I am so sorry. She and I went to school together in Ashe County. Our elementary years were spent at Nathans Creek. I missed her when she moved away. Doris was fun to be with and knew how to be a friend. It doesn't surprise me that she continued to be a special person to be around. Please accept my condolences and know that you all are in my thoughts.

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. Rob,
We were so sad to hear that Doris had passed away, but she is now with Jesus and the angels and she is at peace. We just today found out and sadly we will not be able to attend her service. I am still having issues with my leg and today was a "in the bed all day" day. You and your family as well as hers, will be in our prayers. If there is any thing we can do to help you through this time of great sadness please let us know. We lost our house in Ashe County due to financial issues caused by my leg problem , so we live in Watauga County now. We love you and are praying for you!
