Mr. Clyde Wilson Osborne, age 71, of Creston passed away Monday afternoon, November 20, 2017 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Dollar, Rev. Jeff Dollar, and Rev. Carlton Houck officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 6-8PM at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Osborne was born in Ashe County on April 25, 1946 to the late Roy and Ocie Elliott Osborne. He was a member and deacon at Rich Hill Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of West Jefferson Auto Auction. He was a cattle and tree farmer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife of 54 years of marriage, Mary Francis Osborne; two sons, Barry Osborne and wife Vickie of Warrensville, and Keith Osborne and wife Stephanie of North Wilkesboro, one daughter; Jada Mast and husband Chris of Lansing, two sisters; Mary Ruth Burchette of West Jefferson, and Magalene Grubb and husband Bryce of Creston, five grandchildren; Brian Green, Gracie Mast, Emily Osborne, Eli Mast, and Bailey Osborne; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
