Mr. Mark Wayne Testerman, age 48, of Lansing died Saturday morning, January 6, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 1:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike McElhaney and Rev. Ken Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Howell Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2018; one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Testerman was born in Ashe County on September 28, 1969 to the late Edward Van Testerman, Sr. and Elinor Gaye Barker Testerman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all, spending time with his son, Joshua. He was a loving father and brother; he will be missed by all. Mr. Testerman is survived by a son, Joshua Allen Testerman, of Lansing; two brothers, Van Testerman and wife Arbie, of Lansing and Dale Testerman and wife, Rhonda, of Warrensville; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family is meeting at the home of Van and Arbie Testerman at 559 Mouth of Silas Creek Road in Lansing.
