Obituary of Thomas Marvin Main

Mr. Thomas Marvin Main, Jr., better known as “Tom” age 72, of Todd passed away Friday morning, February 9, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 2PM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Casey officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 1-2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Main was born in Watauga County on March 30, 1945 to the late Thomas and Biddie Houck Main. He worked as a mechanic.

He is preceded in death by two brothers; John and Walter Main, and three sisters; Ada Belle, Martha Pearl, and Virginia.

Mr. Main is survived by three sisters; Mary Pruitt of Todd, Margie Miller and husband Guy of Crumpler, and Ethel Wood of King George, VA, three brothers; Dean Main and wife Lula Belle of Todd, Glenn Main and wife Lois of Todd, and Billy Main and wife Barbara of West Jefferson, several nieces and nephews also survive.
