Anne Dover Beard Anne Dover Beard of Creston, NC has passed away. Anne was born in Cleveland County NC and raised on a large farm with three brothers and two sisters. After she graduated from high school she attended the Rutherford School of Nursing and graduated as a Registered Nurse. She worked for the next 40 years as a dedicated nurse in the Charlotte areas. She worked in the birthing unit and delivery room and saw hundreds of new lives brought into the world. Her dedication to nursing inspired many in her family to have medical careers. Anne was married to the love of her life John Robert Beard (deceased) for 68 years. She raised two children son, John Robert Beard III (deceased) and daughter Ellen. She taught her children her love of life and the outdoors. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, camping, boating and picnics with her family. Her favorite food was a good ole hotdog. In her later life she enjoyed listening to music and old TV westerns. She was a gentle compassionate mother and a devoted loving wife. She will always be remembered and loved. If Flowers Grow in Heaven If flowers grow in heaven Lord, Then pick a bunch for me then Place them in my mother's arms And tell her they are from me Tell her that I love and miss her And when she turns to smile place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile for me.
