I want to share with his family that though late, my heart is heavy today as I find my friend and co-worker from the USS Hunley has passed on at such a young age. I have from time to time tried to find Ken, but with no luck. This is not how I wished to find him. Ken was the sweetest my caring person I have ever had the privilege to know. His sense of humor was the key to who he was. I only wish he would have had more self confidence in his abilities. I hope he found that later after the Navy. He did so much for me in our time together. I have memories I can keep to myself and to cherish. His laugh, his love of the Beatles and his progressive theology would be so helpful in our turbulent times. From Scotland to Virginia that is the road we traveled. Everytime I see an old fashioned "Texico Man" Jacket I think of Ken to this day. I'm sure he was a great uncle and I know he was a good brother to his siblings. I loved Ken as no other in my Navy life. He was a Giant among men and I can attest to it and how he handled situations and carried himself in trying circumstances. I am so pleased he crossed my path and has an impact on my life to this day. I hope you found Heaven my friend.

I knew Ken in the Navy and he was an amazing person and a friend to all. He will be missed. It is ironic that just yesterday, which would have been his birthday, that I decided to look him up on google. Fair winds and following seas shipmate.

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.
