Obituary of Teddy Allen Eller

Mr. Teddy Allen Eller, age 80 of Jefferson passed Sunday morning, March 18, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:15pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Jones, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:30pm -2:15pm at Boone Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Eller was born in Ashe County on June 6, 1937 to the late Avery and Ethel Jones Eller. He was a faithful Christian and follower of Jesus Christ, and enjoyed singing in the choir. He was a member at Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years of marriage; Mary Ellen Osborne, one daughter; Rhonda Kregel and husband John of Mechanicsville, VA, two sons; Bobby Eller and wife Sharon of Silver Springs, Maryland, and Billy Eller of Dunkirk, Maryland, one brother; Jerry Eller of Palm Bay, Florida, four grandchildren; Emily Kregel, Michael Kregel, Corporal Joshua Eller USMC which is stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and Kathryn Eller, also survived by his loving uncle, aunts, nieces and nephews.
