Mrs. Rhonda Renee Sawyer Testerman, age 52, of Warrensville, passed away Wednesday evening, March 21, 2018 at NC Baptist Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 2:30pm at Boone Family Funeral Home chapel with Brother Ralph Smith and Elder Fred Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Welch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:30 on Monday, March 26, 2018; two hours prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Testerman was born in Ashe County on February 1, 1966 to the late James Stephen Sawyer and Wanda Wooten Sawyer. She graduated from Northwest High School in 1984. She worked in banking Industry most of her life. She worked at Ashe Federal Bank and Yadkin Valley Bank. Rhonda enjoyed working with craft and was a great cake maker .She also enjoyed watching NC Tarheels Basketball. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she will be missed by all. Mrs. Testerman is survived by her husband, Dale Testerman; a son, Chad Testerman and wife, Kimberly, of Todd; a daughter, Erica Roten and husband, Scott, of Lansing; her mother, Wanda Sawyer, of Warrensville; her grandmother, Lola Brooks Sawyer Greer, of Warrensville; a sister, Cindy Rupard and husband, Eric, of Warrensville; a grandson, Raylan Roten; one niece and two nephews; several cousins also survive.
