Mrs. Geraldine Ham, age 84, of Jefferson passed away Tuesday night, May 1, 2018 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Russell Sheets and Speaker Jimmy Jones officiating. Mrs. Ham was born in Ashe County on January 14, 1934 to the late Green and Rettie Rupard Ham. She retired from Southern Device Mfg. Company. She enjoyed working in her flowers and reading her Bible. But her greatest love was her family; especial her great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sisters. Mrs. Ham is survived by two daughters , Dreama Blevins and husband, Roger, of Grassy Creek and Priscilla Witherspoon, of Jefferson; two brothers, Benjamin Ham and wife, Jackie, of Aberdeen, Maryland and Joe Ham, of Marion, Virginia; two grandchildren, Tina Jones and husband, Greg, of West Jefferson and Kerry Witherspoon and wife, Andrea, of West Jefferson; three great-grandchildren, Corinne Jones, Ashlynn Jones and Keenan Witherspoon; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will be meeting at the home of Greg and Tina Jones at 351 Ray Road in West Jefferson.
