Dearest Linda, Dean’s friends, and family we are are deeply saddened to learn of Dean’s passing. A man large in stature, kindness, and heart. A special bond existed between Dean and I akin to the love that exists between paternal Brothers. In the years we spent together as fraternal Brothers at the University of Tampa I can never remember hearing a harsh.word pass his lips. He will be remembered by all that knew him. We pray for your consolation in the days ahead.

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

My sympathy to Dean's family, even though we didn't stay in touch after High School and Jr College. I will always remember our time together in the band and working our first summer job at Hank's, where we detailed cars. We always had a great time and the memories will be there forever.

Hey pardner, went home to check the place out without me huh, OK if that's the way you're going to be..... I talked to the Man about you and he's got your place all ready. He also said some day down the road we'll be able to start our old Thanksgiving get together's again but there's no fire in Heaven so I can't work the fireplace like I used to do. I'd have a hard time writing the words that are in my hurting heart so I needed to poke some fun but down deep you know I love you....And you know I miss the Hell out of you. Linda is a big girl and we love her to pieces and she will miss you greatly but she will march on and keep her chin up. We'll all rally around her as she needs and she will be fine, don't worry about her, enjoy your new home and we'll be with you down the road. C's heart is broken and you have left a void in both of our hearts. Thanks for 40+ years of a great friendship....Love you....Take care of him God, he's worth every effort!
P.S. C says no Turducken!!!~!

Linda & family:
My most heart felt condolences on the loss of Dean, your wonderful husband.
I have always considered Dean as a very significant close friend over the past 55 years.
His passing leaves a big void in all who experienced his kindness and concern for his friends and family. He gave much more than he expected in return.
Play your horn, Dean I can hear you!
I will miss him greatly.
Best regards,
Patrick McDermott
