Mrs. Judith Ann Williams Branch, better known as "Judy" age 70, of West Jefferson passed away Saturday morning, July 21, 2018 at Margate Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services are will be held Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00am at Bald Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. John Elledge and Rev. Ervel Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Fleetwood Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Bald Mountain Baptist Church. Mrs. Branch was born in Ashe County on September 21, 1947 to the late Glenn Walter and Maude Keller Williams Judy retired after 34 years from teaching at Fleetwood Elementary and West wood Elementary Schools. She was a member of Bald Mountain Baptist Church. She volunteered at Westwood after retirement and the Good News Club. She enjoyed reading and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Branch is survived by her husband, Larry Branch; two daughters , Monica Parsons and husband, Chris, of Jefferson and Allison Branch, of Raleigh; four sisters, Patty Long, of Belmont, Greta Ferguson, of West Jefferson, Linda McCraw, of Fleetwood and Sandy Lemly, of Fleetwood; a grandson, Blake Parsons; several nieces and nephews also survive.
