Mr. Charlie Marshall Hamm, age 28, of Creston passed away Sunday morning, July 22, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Seatz, Rev. Tommy Wurth and Rev. Rector Henson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mahala Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Hamm was born in Watauga County on May 4, 1990 to Robert Lawrence Hamm and Wanda Sue Mahala Hamm. He worked for Lowe's Foods as a meat and seafood clerk. He enjoyed doing magic with cards and building War machines and competing with them. Charlie also enjoyed watching Nascar and Star Track. But most of all he enjoyed playing with his two nephews. He will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Lawrence Hamm; his grandparents, Charlie and Marie Mahala; his grandfather, Lawrence Hamm. Mr. Hamm is survived by his parents, Robert & Sue Mahala Hamm of Creston; his fiancé, Tiffany Osborne, of Mouth of Wilson, VA; a sister, Linda Sue Groves and husband, Michael, of Creston; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Hamm, of Crumpler; two nephews; Grayson and Lundy; a host of uncles, aunts and cousins also survive.
