Mr. Jerry Willard Osborne, age 73, of Crumpler passed away Tuesday evening, August 21, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Casey officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Sunday, August 26, 2018; one hour prior to the funeral service. Mr. Osborne was born in Frederick County, Maryland on June 14, 1945 to the late Earnest and Clyde Bare Osborne. He worked in Textile Manufacturing Company. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather; he will be missed by all. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Osborne. Mr. Osborne is survived by his wife, Faye Craft Osborne; a son, Ronnie Osborne and wife, Tereasa, of Gastonia; a daughter, Gail Day and husband, Alvin, of West Jefferson; a brother, Robert Osborne and wife, Shirley, of Crumpler; two grandchildren Abigail and Jacoby Osborne, both of Gastonia; several nieces and nephews also survive. Flowers will be accepted.
