Obituary of Richard Allen Miller

Mr. Richard Allen Miller, age 66, of Piney Creek passed away Thursday evening, September 13, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Foster Mash Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 6-8pm at Boone Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Miller was born in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Avery and Grace Hart Miller. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife; Lois Loggins Miller, three step-sons; Ricky Howell of Piney Creek, Gary Howell and wife Joy of Mouth of Wilson, and Tim Howell and wife Amy of Lansing, one sister; Peggy Money of West Jefferson, four brothers; Terry Miller of Dresden, Ohio, Tom Miller of Grassy Creek, Ronnie Miller of Lenoir, and Jeff Miller and wife Barbara of Jefferson, four step grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
