I can remember Mr and Mrs bare from the skating rink in Jefferson, probably 1966, they were very kind to everyone and tried to help us.
I later remember helping Glenn prune Christmas trees and helped some at the lawnmower motorcycle shop in Boone.
Great memories of great family.

I just learned of Almarea’s passing and and am so sorry. I have such fond memories of Glenn and her. The skating rink was a huge part of my growing up. Glenn gave me my first job teaching (holding up-!!) the little ones. Please give my condolences to Steve.6

I am very sorry for your loss . Losing a loved one in death is such a difficult thing to experience . Please be comforted by the promises in the Bible . Jesus tells us at John 5 : 28 , 29 that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out . What a loving provision put in place by the God of all comfort so we can have the assured hope of seeing our dead loved ones live again one day . We have such precious memories of Aunt Almarea and Uncle Glenn. Always felt like I was their child and not just their niece. Aunt Almarea has gone home and is forever at peace with her Savior and loved ones. We love and miss you!!!

I was roller skating at Jefferson Elementary School when I was 9 years old and Glenn and Marie were running the rink. Once I got a little older they would give me a wide mop, let me put on my skates and clean the floor before everyone else got there. They let me skate for free and gave me soft drinks and chips. I am now 62 years of age and remember the Bares very fondly. Excellent character.
