Mr. Holden Junior Bare, better known as June, age 83, of Laurel Springs passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 3:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Brewer officiating. Mr. Bare was born in Wilkes County on April 18, 1935 to the late Holden Gaston and Bessie Darnell Bare. He worked as a Carpenter most of his life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother; he will be missed by all. Mr. Bare is survived by his wife, Joyce Hurley Bare; three sons, Holden Bare and wife, Tammy, of Jefferson, Michael Bare and wife, Robin, of Laurel Springs and Charles Bare of Laurel Springs; a daughter, Deborah Casula, of Illinois; two sisters, Marie Dillard of Glendale Springs and Georgie Bare, of Jefferson; six grandchildren, Jamie Bare, Rachel Prevett, Michael Bare Jr., Ben Casula, Andy Casula and Nevaeh Bare; three great-grandchildren, Carolina Bare, Jace Bare and Harper Bare; several nieces and nephews also survive.
