Mr. Mark Anthony Miller, age 52, of West Jefferson passed away Thursday morning, November 15, 2018 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Testerman, Rev. Jeff brown and Rev. Jason Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Miller was born in Ashe County n May 9, 1966 to Reggie Miller and the late Janice Campbell Miller. Mark was born with disabilities that prohibited him from walking, talking or crying. We can all rejoice that Mark is now in heaven with his Mother and his Lord, Jesus Christ and no longer has any disabilities. Mark was a joy to all who knew him and he will be dearly missed in the days and years to come. He is survived by: his father, Reggie Miller, of West Jefferson; a brother-like, Chris Campbell, of Pigeon Forge, TN; seven aunts, Venice Sage, Reva Hartness, Mary Rash, Linda Galloway, Naomi Miller, Barbara Gregory and Shirley; four uncles, Harold and Ronnie Campbell, Richard and Leroy Miller; a host of cousins also survive. Flowers will be appreciated. We want to thank all previous caregivers that assisted Reggie and Janice in the care of their only child.
