Obituary of Wyvonna Teryl Ring

Wyvonna Teryl "Terri" Ring departed to be with her Savior on November 16, 2018, at age 95.  She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Thomas W. Ring of Todd, NC, and by her three children; Mary Catherine Finch of Todd, Thomas Ring, Jr. of Milton, FL and Timothy Ring of Lake City, FL.  She is also survived by six much-loved grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Terri was a registered nurse who served her country during World War II and retired from nursing at the Veteran's Hospital in Lake City, FL.  She and her husband have been residents of Todd since 1993.  After moving to Todd, Terri continued in nursing ending her career at Ashe Memorial Hospital with more than 45 years dedicated to caring for others.

Family will receive visitors from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 20th at the Boone Family Funeral Home in West Jefferson.  A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ashe County Public Library.  Terri was an avid reader who never stopped learning.
