Lessie Perry, 94, of Delray, WV died on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Lessie was born on September 6, 1924 in Kingsport, TN, a daughter of the late Smith J. and Frannie B. Miller Greer. She attended the Delray Christian Church in Delray, WV. Lessie enjoyed cooking, quilting (which she did up to the very end) and most of all loved being with her grandkids and great-grandkids Lessie married Willard Ezra Perry in October of 1944. Mr. Perry died on November 22, 1995. Surviving are two sons: R. Ralph Perry of Delray, WV; Ronnie G. Perry of Hays, NC; a daughter: Evelyn M. Dressler of Hagerstown, MD; a sister: Elnora Greenland of Churchville, MD; 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a grandson, two brothers and two sisters. A funeral service will be held at the Boone Family Funeral Home in West Jefferson, NC on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11 AM. Officiating will be Pastors David Lyalls and Larry Shepherd. Interment will follow in the Perry Family Cemetery. the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel.
