Mr. Thomas Kenneth Miller, better known as "Kenny", age 64, of West Jefferson passed away Wednesday morning at Ashe Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4pm at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Miller was born in Ashe County on April 22, 1954 to the late Tom Miller and Jacqueline Miller. He worked at Gates Rubber Company for 17 years. He enjoyed fishing and was an excellent marksman. He is survived by a son, Jason Miller of West Jefferson; two daughters, Christina Stout and husband, Scott, of Lansing and Jamie Miller, of Wilkesboro; his mother Jacqueline Miller, of West Jefferson; a brother, Glenn Miller and wife, Linda, of West Jefferson; two sisters, Geraldine Hartzog and husband, Terry, of West Jefferson and Peggy Baugess and husband, Mike, of Millers Creek; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive.
