Jan I'm so sorry to hear that Ron has past it saddens me he was a dear friend. I loved the days you both came to Wendys. I enjoyed his stories. He was a great man. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Know that our loving creator is hurting just the same. He hates death ( 1 Corinthians 15:26) for this reason Jehovah has made a promise to not only put an end to it but also the promise of seeing Ronnie again (Revelation 21:4). Please allow these scriptures and the beautiful promises from God's word to comfort your hearts.
