Elder Ronda Bartholomew Rash, age 84, of Todd, passed away Thursday morning, December 20, 2018 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 11am at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Joey McClure, Rev. Tommy Dollar, and Rev. Mitchell Mash officiating. Burial will follow in the Rash Cemetery with Military Rites. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 10:00-11:00am at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Rash was born in Ashe County on September 7, 1934 to the late Ben and Julie Rash. Elder Ronda Rash was a minister at Three Top Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in the garden and woodworking. He was a loving husband, father, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by a daughter; Kathy Rash Grogan; a son, Ronnie Rash; two brothers; Lemuel Rash, and John Rash, and three sisters; Emma Rash, Magdalene Rash and Martha Daughtery. He is survived by his wife of 63 years; Betty Rash, two sons; Ricky Rash and wife Tammie of Jefferson, and Randy Rash of Todd, one daughter; Christine Howell and husband Jimmy of Crumpler, one sister; Dessie Blevins of West Jefferson, seven grandchildren; Michael Howell, Crystal Howell, Jessica Hartzog, Tiffany Stokes, Justin Grogan, Greg Grogan, and Amy Stidhams, eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
