Rest in peace Mr. Charlton. I would have liked to have met you. Part of getting closer to Anne has included learning a lot about you. She has described you as an incredible father and husband and a man I would be proud to be like. She misses you terribly. Worry not, you have raised a wonderful daughter and she carries you in her heart every day.

Paul and I met the Charltons through our daughter, Erin, who is best friends with Taylor Orlandi. The girls have known each other since they were four and call each other twins. Mr and Mrs Charlton attended many school functions as the girls grew up. They were such loving and supportive grandparents. Last year, Erin spent a week in NC with Taylor and her grandparents. She has such wonderful memories and still talks about their adventures. She called Mr C her third granddad and loved him very much. He will be missed by us all but we know he is in a safe and happy place and he will watch over our girls forever now as their angel.

Sheri,Anne and Ralph Jr. you certainly were blessed with a wonderful husband and father. Cherish the loving memories of the time that you spent with him for they will be with you forever, just as he will, looking down upon you with affection and pride. Ralph was always the "go to" guy when you sought wisdom and guidance. He was a gentle and loving man who never hesitated to reach out to others. We regret that we were unable to spend more time with him. His legacy will live on through his family. Ralph you will always have a warm place in our hearts. We will miss you always.
Love, Janet and Earl

Dear Sheri, Anne, Ralph Jr, and all of your Ralph's family including his beloved grandchildren,
My heart goes out to all of you, please know that. Ralph looked sooo well in June that his loss is just sooo shocking. I will always remember Ralph's warm smile and how friendly he was. Sheri, it's a testament to how much Ralph loved you when he drove you all the way from NC to eastern LI, so you would be safe. That is true love. Ralph is surely in heaven now, and may God hold all of you in the palm of His hands until you are reunited. With love and hugs, Barbara
