Obituary of David Curtis McFadden

Mr. David Curtis McFadden, age 62, of Crumpler passed away Thursday morning at Ashe Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11am at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Ashley and Pastor Jeff Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowan Memorial Park in Salisbury.

The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Monday; one hour prior to the funeral service.

Mr. McFadden was born in Rutherford County on February 2, 1957 to the late John and Ida Mae Maree McFadden. David was a proud and loyal University of North Carolina Tar Heels Fan. He retired from the Veterans Admistration Hospital as a nursing assistant.

He is survived by his wife; Kathy McFadden, three daughters; Brittany Phillips of Crumpler, Angel Miller of West Jefferson, and Veronica Bishop of Virginia, seven grandchildren; Riley Massingell, Nakayla Danielson, Hunter Danielson, Eli Trivette, Sarah Bishop, Joseph Roland, and Matthew Roland, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
