Mrs. Irene Beatrice Elliott Osborne of Red Springs was born in Ashe County on March 6, 1937 to the late Arthur Eugene Elliott and the late Carrie Edith Campbell Elliott and departed this life at her home on April 7, 2019 completing her earthly journey of 82 years. The funeral will be Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 1 P.M. at Pleasant Chapel Church in Lansing, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Osborne leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 62 years: Cecil Jones Osborne of the home; seven children: Larry Osborne of Red Springs, NC Jimmy Osborne of Jacksonville, NC Garry Osborne of Newton, NC, Timothy Osborne of Maiden, NC Edward Osborne of Oak Island, NC Kathy Mullins of Catawba, NC and Tina Snipes of Lenoir, NC; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four brothers: Ivan Elliott, Joe Elliott, Virgil Elliott, and Jerry Elliott, all of West Jefferson, NC; one sister: Magalene Osborne of West Jefferson, NC; and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. at Boone Family Funeral Home in West Jefferson, NC.
