Obituary of Billy Lee Price

Mr. Billy Lee Price, age 82, of Creston passed away Friday night, June 7, 2019 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Creston Church of Christ with Rev. J.E. Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Price-Roark Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2019; one hour prior to the funeral service.

Mr. Price was born in Ashe County on January 10, 1937 to the late Paul John and Irene Mahala Price. He enjoyed watching westerns and The Lone Ranger on television. He also enjoyed putting puzzles together.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jackson Price and Gene Price; a sister, Josie Barker.

Mr. Price is survived by: a brother, Robert Price, better known as Bob, of Creston; his caregivers, Jim and Ruth Mahala, of Creston; several nieces and nephews also survive.
