Mrs. Ardie Lambert Little, age 97, of Jefferson, the Friendship Community, passed away Monday morning, June 10, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00pm at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Jones and Rev. Herb Parunak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm on Saturday, June 15, 2019; two hours prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Little was born in Beckley, West Virginia on February 14, 1922 to the late Whoey Lambert. She retired from Sprague Electric. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Ardie enjoyed travelling and going dancing with her friends at the VFW. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Blan Little; a son, Marvin Mickey Little; five siblings. Mrs. Little is survived by: a son, Max Little and wife, Helen, of Jefferson; a daughter, Phyllis Yates and husband, Joel, of Fleetwood; a sister, Elsie Miller, of Statesville; two grandsons, Billy Little and wife, Kelly, of Fall Branch, TN and Joel Yates, Jr. and wife, Kate, of West Jefferson; a granddaughter, Callie Grubb and husband, Jason, of Fleetwood; three great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; four great, great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews also survive.
