Mrs. Annie May Poe Misher, age 93, of Fleetwood passed away Saturday afternoon, June 15, 2019 at Glenbridge Health & Rehab Center in Boone. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Dula and Rev. Roosevelt Carlton officiating. Mrs. Misher was born in McDowell County, West Virginia on September 27, 1925 to the late Dewey and Leulah Spicer Poe. She was a wonderful mother and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude William Misher, Sr., four brothers, Russell Poe, Howard Poe, Leonard Poe and Willard Poe; three sisters, Reba Poe Hardin, Roberta (Polly) Poe, Nell Poe Howe. Mrs. Misher is survived by: four sons, Claude William Misher, Jr. and wife, Diane, of Odenton, Maryland, Donald Misher, of Pfafftown, NC, Samuel Misher and wife, Pamela, of Greensboro and Eric Misher and wife, Charlotte, of Fayetteville, NC; three daughters , Helena Harris and husband, Jerry, of Wilkesboro, Katrina Wesselman and husband, Dennis, of Hickory, NC and Shelia Nuelle and husband, Michael, of Boone; three brothers, Ralph Poe, of Jefferson, Luther Poe, of Willa Grove, PA and Bob Poe, of Jefferson; a sister, Mary Peal, of Willa Grove, PA; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
