Obituary of Daymon Gilbert Stanley
Daymon Gilbert Stanley, of 326 Ginger Mountain Lane, Warrensville, was reunited in Heaven with his forever bride, Janet Shoemake Stanley on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-3pm at Warrensville Baptist Church.
The world was blessed to have Daymon for 78 years, beginning on February 15, 1941. In his stay here on earth, he was active in his native community of Warrenville, NC where he was a spirited member of Warrenville Baptist Church and a devoted member of the Warrensville Volunteer Fire Department for 38 years. He was a man of few words, but his contributions to his family, church, and his services to the emergency response teams in Ashe County, his passion spoke enormous volume from his heart. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend who had a niche helping others. Daymon enjoyed fishing and teaching his grandkids the art of the same; but he has fond memories of fishing in Canada with some very special friends. His ultimate pastime was coordinating the annual cookout for Ebenezer Children's Home in Wilkesboro yet his runner up was sitting on his front porch watching his beloved herd of deer. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Stanley is survived by one son; Paul Stanley of Kentucky, two step sons; Jeffery Richardson of Warrensville, and Barry Houck and wife Sharon of Zionsville, one daughter; Shelly Stanley of Warrensville, one step daughter; Diane Smith and husband Gary of Granite Falls, one brother; Neil Stanley and wife Melba of Chesterfield, SC, three sisters; Mary Lou Pupari and husband Jim of North Canton, OH, Sandra Garcia and husband Alex of Hickory, and Libby Owens of Warrensville, nine grandchildren; Emma Smith, Ashley Pennell, Caleb Bradshaw, Noah Bradshaw, Katlyn Bradshaw, Alex Richardson, Julia Richardson, Tyler Houck, and Sabrina Houck, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
