Obituary of Josephine Snyder

Mrs. Josephine Snyder, age 85 of Creston, the Brushy Fork Community passed on to God on Thursday, June 20th at Margate Health and Rehab.  She was preceded in death by her son Marlin Snyder and grandson Scotty Lambert.  

Mrs. Snyder is survived by her husband, Darrell Snyder, 2 daughters Evelyn Howell and husband Phil of Jefferson and Lisa Lambert of West Jefferson.  Three grandchildren also survive, Angie Holman of Wilkesboro, B. Phil Howell of Laurel Springs and Sarah Greer of West Jefferson.  She is also survived by three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Snyder was employed at the Mountain City Glove Factory and retired as a supervisor after 31 years of service.  As a lover of God, family and community her impact will be forever felt to all those that grew to know and admire her.

Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2pm at the Mahala Cemetery in Creston and officiated by Rev. Anthony Roark and Pastor Tommy Stephens.
