Obituary of Larry Dale Phillips

Mr. Larry Dale Phillips better known as “Boggs”, age 63, of Lansing passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 2pm at Calhoun Big Springs Cemetery with Rev. Danny Farmer officiating.

Mr. Phillips was born in Ashe County on July 28, 1955 to the late Harrison and Bessie Farmer Phillips. Boggs enjoyed spending time with his son and riding four-wheelers. He also spent most of his time outdoors and hunting.

He is survived by his fiancé Donna Farmer of Lansing, one son; William Kevin Phillips of Lansing, four sisters; Mae Greer of Lansing, Ruby Hamm of Lansing, Shirley Bauguess of Lansing, and Jane Farmer of Grassy Creek, two grandchildren; Randall and Colt Moore, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
